My name is Nicole, and I literally live my Life Down a Limerock Road. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I have a passion for history, for photography, and for words. I am deeply rooted, but also have a lingering case of wanderlust. I have spent my life in the South, exploring, discovering, listening and learning. I come from common people, who worked hard to scratch out lives and provide for themselves; people who appreciated honesty, simple pleasures, kindness and a full day’s labor. This has instilled in me an abiding respect for these people and their lives, as well as a fascination for the objects that paid witness to it all. I am profoundly touched by these things and intrigued by their stories. I find myself driven to seek out these lost places and learn more about the people who left them behind.
These stories of bygone times have a unique beauty. Capturing those whispered memories – if only for a moment in the present – is my way of honoring these things, these places, and these people. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
Great! So glad you are doing this! Love all your photos and stories – thank you!

Thank you so much, Ellen!
